Gap came out with a new logo, and it's kind of tragic.. like Word-clipart-tragic. The design world is voicing its mass criticism online, but can you blame them? What's odd though is that Gap wants this feedback... in fact they are open to seeing new design ideas. This "crowd sourcing" is an interesting method of collaborating on a rebranding effort - honestly though, it looks more like an after-thought post launch failure.
But props for making a twitter account (@GapLogo) to chronicle all of this hatred, Gap. At least there isn't a gap in communication there. To make your own "crap logo" visit here.
