my inner martha stewart came out last night... instead of buying a pre-assembled bouquet for my girl friend's birthday, i thought it would be fun to make my own! maybe i'm just picky or too indecisive, but i think this little DIY project turned out pretty well if i do say so myself. just some pretty calla lilies and peach baby roses...

by the way, dealing with and touching eucalyptus will cause your allergies to go nuts. oh, and they hide really great vases behind the floral counter... if you're into that sort of sneaky, suspicious behavior that adventures are made of :)
