the ultimate provider

"And my God will liberally fill to the full your every need according
to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 (Amplified ver.)

most think of journeys as a pathway to gain something, finding a lost piece of their puzzle on some big adventure. i'm on a journey of letting go. it's funny how the tighter we try to hold on to something, the faster it slips away. God likes to remind us though that He is the Great Provider. His riches surpass any earthly, fleshy profit that we can imagine. you just have to let Him "fill to the full your every need." have you handed over that control in your life? do you take your needs straight to our heavenly provider?

i'm still learning here, but i love that the Bible verses that I'm teaching my first Sunday School lesson from have been addressing so many of my heart's requests recently. oh so divine are His ways!

  1. Thanks Ann Michele for this. I honestly don't have as many strong Christian friends in my life as I'd like and I feel incredibly blessed that I can count you among the ones I do. Letting go has been a lesson and a concept I've had to pray about. Not only do I have to let go, I've actually been asking God to help me get better at letting go! Aren't I high maintenance?

  2. That just means you can be a great light to your other friends who maybe don't know God's love! But it is amazing to be surrounded by a community of believers-i know that to be true too! And you are not high maintenance at all... i think God relishes in us running to Him knowing that we need Him and His strength. He knows we can't do it on our own! I've had to do the exact same thing so we're in that boat together friend : )
